We are very excited to share more pre-Thanksgiving goodness with you this Tuesday from 9-3 at Ridge Hill! Morning Glory Markets is the organizer of your favorite markets, including Hastings, Irvington, Chappaqua and Bronxville. Headed by Hastings' own Pascale LaDraoulec, this market is sure to be a good one. Pop by to say hi, and grab all that stuff you didn't know you forgot! For an added festive feel, the one and only MILTON will be playing live music from 11:30 - 1:30. I am very excited to hear him play again!

MY OFFERINGS WILL INCLUDE:

SOUPS!

Butternut Squash Apple + Sage

The butternut squash are particularly beautiful and bright orange this year. Perhaps they knew we needed a little extra light in our lives. Paired with local apples and fresh sage, this is a win for a simple lunch, or as a Thanksgiving appetizer!

Vegan, Gluten Free, Dairy Free

Mushroom, Barley, Bean + Bacon

The question of "what to eat for dinner the night before Thanksgiving, or lunch before the big meal" is one we always ponder in my home. This soup is hearty enough to fill you,

but so nutritious and not too heavy.

Dairy Free

Turkey Bone Broth

Simmered for hours, this broth will make a perfect Thanksgiving Day gravy, and can also be used to prepare side dishes, or my favorite -- the day-after Turkey Soup!!

Dairy Free, Gluten Free

Immunity Booster Broth

When the festivities are on pause after the Thanksgiving feast and before we move on to the next holidays, take some time to take care of yourself and your loved ones! This immunity boosting broth is an elixir of minerals and antioxidants to make you feel great. To be sipped on its own, or added to your own cooking.

Vegan, Dairy Free, Gluten Free

I am bringing a few other goodies to elevate your Thanksgiving meal!!

My Cranberry Clementine Relish is a zingy twist on a classic accompaniment. Fresh cranberries, clementines, and a hint of crystallized ginger, lightly sweetened with Agave. A delightful alternative to the jiggly tinned type.

Looking for a twist on your roasted bird? I have blended some of my favorite spices together with Himalayan Sea Salt for a Turkey Spice Rub which I plan to put on our family bird the night before Thanksgiving. It works great for chicken, seafood and your meat alternatives, too!

Some of you a familiar with the Tipsy Cherries, which I created at The Mill in Hastings. Soaked in a homemade Citrus Spiced Amaretto, these cherries are great for any number of celebratory cocktails (or straight out of the jar on some ice cream!!).

Pre-Orders available through the website, as always!

Lots of other amazing vendors will be at this market, too. Come out to support your local producers! See you at the Market!

We are lucky to live in a beautiful corner of the world here in the Hudson Valley. I will be at my "home" market in Hastings this week, and look forward to seeing the faces I have come to know and appreciate! I am ever so grateful for your support of my new adventure.

I have to say it, it's hard to believe it's already Holiday time again! As a chef, I always looked forward to the holidays as a time to cook for and with my family and friends, not just in a bustling, convivial restaurant setting. My life is different this holiday season, but I am happy to embrace this change. Of course, this year is different for all of us, but it can still be a time to take comfort in the delicious offerings of the season! This week's soups are some of the most comforting offerings I make! You know those busy days where you forget to plan something for dinner? Grab some soups to keep on hand for a nutrient dense and fulfilling meal, made by yours truly.

Soups this week include:

Butternut Squash Apple + Sage

A fan favorite! Great for the Thanksgiving table, too!

White Bean, Sausage + Kale

Weeknight dinner. Done. You're welcome.

Creamy Mushroom

Mixed mushrooms in a creamy, earthy (gluten free!) base.

Coconut Red Lentil

With warming curry spices, I find great comfort in this soup.

And it's vegan, dairy free and gluten free!

In an effort to make your Holiday meals a little easier, I am bringing a few additional items to elevate your Thanksgiving table!

In other news, we are headed to a OUTDOOR POP-UP MARKET at RIDGE HILL on TUESDAY 11/24 from 9 am to 3 pm! Looking for more local goodness for your Thanksgiving festivities? Come by to support your local food producers! Live music by Milton from 11:30-1:30!

Stay tuned for my December Schedule!

See you at the Market!

I have really enjoyed participating in the Bronxville and Chappaqua Farmers Markets over the last few weeks! The market "vibe" is really a thing. I have been getting to know other vendors, chatting with market directors and volunteers, and of course meeting all of the wonderful market shoppers! In times like these, being able to have this sense of community is so comforting and needed. I have always found the Farmers Market vendor/shopper relationship to be one of mutual support. As vendors, we provide you with thoughtfully crafted and grown nourishment. As shoppers, you provide us with a reason to keep traditions, recipes, family farms and more alive and well.

We are all in this together, and together we will see it through.

That being said, I am very excited to return to my home market this weekend

in HASTINGS ON HUDSON!! This week I'm bringing some requested favorites and Hastings "classics" with me.

I have made as much soup as a one-woman soup company can make!
